Southam house fire tackled by firefighters
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a home in Southam yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Shortly before 6pm Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene in Rainsbrook Close, Southam, where a house was on fire.
One crew from Southam and two from Leamington went to the private residence and found the fire to be in the downstairs kitchen.
They used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a covering jet and quickly made the scene safe.
