The latest in a series of cut-price town centre concerts will be held at St Andrew’s church on Friday October 11.

Three gifted Rugby-based musicians will perform works by Beethoven, Zemlinsky, Vaughan Williams and Finzi.

Former National Youth Orchestra member Zoe Hogan, now director of music at Bilton Grange School, will play the clarinet, former Guildhall School student Huw Gibson will demonstrate his skills with the cello, and Rosemary Robinson, a music graduate from Cambridge University and accompanist for various competitive festivals, will show her prowess on the piano.

The concert is part of the church’s Open Door programme, which seeks to provide entertainment in the town centre. Tickets cost £5. Call (01788) 565609.
