STABBING: Five men arrested after a man is found with three stab wounds in Albert Street

Five men were arrested last night (Thursday) following an incident in Rugby in which another man was stabbed.

The incident happened at about 10.30pm at a house in Craven Road, where two men were involved in an altercation with four occupants.

The injured man left the scene and was found in Albert Street with three stab wounds to his chest and shoulder.

He was taken to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire where his condition is said to be serious but not life threatening.

Four men, two aged 21 and two aged 24, were arrested on suspicion of wounding and a fifth on suspicion of violence to secure entry.

All five are currently in custody where they are being questioned by officers today (Friday).
