A Rugby apprentice has come second in the BPP National Apprenticeship Awards.

Sean Cobley is currently working through an AAT accounting qualification with Subscan Technology – a Rugby based utility detection and mapping consultancy firm.

The 19-year-old joined the company in 2014.

BPP, which is a national trainer provider of professional qualifications, recognises high achievers every year, and Sean is the proud recipient of second place for National NVQ Level 2 Apprentice.

Sean said: “Such recognition within my first year as an AAT apprentice is a superb feeling.

“The support and camaraderie at Subscan helps in my success through my course and I look forward to continuing my apprenticeship at the firm when embarking on NVQ Level 3.”

John Robinson, Subscan managing director, said: “We are extremely proud of Sean’s achievements, he is an asset to our team.

“Vocational training is so important in our success.”
