Rugby’s Whitehall Rec will come alive with sound and colour for a day of fun and fundraising on June 20.

Party in the Park: Reloaded 2015 is being held in memory of much-loved Hillmorton teenager Joel Smith, who died when he was 15.

His auntie, Hayley Hammond, is organising the event and hopes it will be the biggest and best yet.

She wants to continue raising awareness of the disease and funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, which helped her family so much.

Hayley said: “I am so excited as this year, the stalls are even better, the bands are awesome and the support from everyone has been immense.”

There’s something for everyone with a petting zoo, face painting, games and hog roast.

This year’s theme is Superheroes and fun-loving fundraisers are invited to dress up for the event, which starts at 11.30am.
