Support for breastfeeding mothers

The Daventry Area Breastfeeding Support group is inviting mums to a special drop-in session to mark National Breastfeeding Week.

The session will take place at Daventry West Children’s Centre in Staverton Road from 10am to 11.30am on Friday, June 24, during which the discussion will focus on how communities can work together to make public places more friendly and welcoming to all mothers.

The group meets every Friday at the same time and anyone can drop in.

National Breastfeeding Week, run by Unicef, takes place from June 18 to 27, while a separate International Breastfeeding Week will take place in August.
