Talk in Leamington puts focus on over-50s’ services

A Warwickshire charity that supports senior citizens is inviting over-50s to a talk at its annual meeting.

Older People in Action is welcoming Mervyn Eastman, director of national co-operative Change AGEnts, to the meeting at Victoria House in Willes Road, Leamington, on Monday November 25.

The talk is entitled: ‘Taking control: transforming older people’s services through cooperating, campaigning and research’. Danae Sheridan, chairman of Older People in Action, said: “We would really encourage older people to come along to hear about this innovative and effective way of getting our voices heard.”
