The Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Richard Dodd, joined a party of service users and supporters at the Hummingbird Centre to celebrate its first anniversary.
The Regent Place centre has been providing support for people affected by cancer in the area for 12 months and has engaged with over 70 people.
The centre provides a drop-in, craft group, workshops, talks and exercise classes plus counselling services for people with a cancer diagnosis.
The facility is expanding its opening times and is looking for volunteers to help with running the centre as well as support in social media, marketing, fundraising and book-keeping.
