ONE GP from Rugby will be adding a bit more colour to the entire length of the country.
Dr Liz Hodds and her ‘bright Barbie pink’ Kia Sorento named Jordan will be taking part in the Pink Car Rally in August to raise money for the Little Princesses Trust.
The charity buys real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.
Liz said: “I’ve done every one of the pink car rallies so far and it’s always so much fun. We drive in convoy beeping and waving at everyone. People who see us coming through are gobsmacked by all the colour.
“My room at the surgery is pink to go with my car and my hair so a lot of my paitents know me as the Pink Doctor.”
To mark the fifth Pink Car Rally this year they are going from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
So far the Pink Car Rally has raised almost a third of its £10,000 target.
