After a short break, Rugby’s thriving metal community will welcome the return of Full Metal Racket tomorrow night.
Back for the 16th time, the Full Metal Racket team have joined forces with The Vault nightclub to bring the metal masses of Rugby another face-melting collection of hard rock and heavy metal bands. The gig takes place after an absence of more than six months, in which time the Rugby metal scene has experienced a rebirth with new bands and promoters popping up.
Headlining will be the UK’s up-and-coming progressive hardcore act Chronographs, who will be bringing their own blend of hardcore-influenced tech metal. According to music website cravemetal.com, “the band is still in its infancy but already have a commanding lead over many young bands out to make their footprint on the metal scene.”
Touring partners Burials will be in support, playing their brand of bleak and brutal melodic metal. The opening act will be Rugby’s own technical metal maestros Hurtseason.
The evening gets under way at 8pm.
