Is there a big cat on the loose in Hillmorton?

An odd sighting in Hillmorton has sparked rumours that a big cat could be roaming the area.

Andy Proctor got in touch with the Advertiser after he spotted the animal from his car late last night (Wednesday).

He said: “I was driving up Linnell Road on the Abbots Farm estate at approximately 10.45pm yesterday when something ran out in front of my car.

“My best description is it was a cat like shape, jet black in colour and about medium to large dog size.

“It ran off down the field next to Linnell Road.

“I was just wondering if any other readers have seen anything similar around Rugby?”
