Thousands of people celebrated the diversity of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender culture for the third Warwickshire Pride festival in Leamington on Saturday.
Festival goers were kept entertained by a variety of performers on stage, such as Leamington drag queen Sassi Afrika, The Voice star Letitia George, former X Factor contestant Wagner, and internationally renowned dance music icon Angie Brown.
There were also 60 stalls featuring community groups, charities, traders and caterers, alongside amusements and fairground attractions.
Festival organiser Daniel Browne, said: “I am absolutely thrilled with how Warwickshire Pride went this year.
“It couldn’t have ran so well without the support of a number of volunteers who donated their time and talents on the day to help it all come together. It was very much a community effort on the day and that is exactly what the festival aims to do; bring the community together.”
The event raised £6,640 which will be used for supporting Warwickshire’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and next year’s festival.
