Three arrested after fight outside bar

Police used a taser after being called to a fight outside a Leamington bar in Wednesday December 29.

Officers used the stun gun while arresting a 17-year-old Coventry man outside Moo Bar in Russell Street on suspicion of violent disorder, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

A police dog team was also sent to the scene, where two other Coventry men aged 17 and 24 were arrested on suspicion of affray.

All three men were held in custody this morning (Thursday December 30) before being questioned by police.

Police are checking CCTV footage of the incident, which took place at 11pm and was believed to involve ten to 15 people, and have appealed for witnesses.
