Three arrested on suspicion of robbery in Harborough Magna

Three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery on Friday following an incident in Rugby Road, Harborough Magna.

Police were called shortly before 1pm following a report that a 19 year old man had been assaulted and had his mobile phone and wallet stolen.

The man was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire where it was discovered that he had a broken wrist and bruising.

Three males, aged 17, 18 and 21, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody for questioning.

They were later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
