Three injured in Bishops Tachbrook crash

Three people were injured in a crash involving three cars in Bishops Tachbrook.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occured outside the Mallory Court Hotel in Harbury Lane last Wednesday (August 14) at around 6.30pm.

A black Nissan Navarra collided with a black VW Golf through a wooden gate, causing the Nissan to rotate and collide with a grey Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Golf, a 32-year-old man from London, was taken by air ambulance to the University Hospital in Coventry to be treated for serious injuries. The drivers of the Nissan, a 40-year-old man from Rugby, and Ford Fusion, a 51-year-old man from Southam, were both taken to Warwick Hospital for minor injuries.

During the collision, part of the Fosse Way and the Tachbrook Road junction were closed.

Any witnesses or anyone who saw any of the cars before the collision occurred are asked to call Pc Patrick Kearney on 101, quoting incident 335 of 14th August.
