Three teenage boys were arrested on Saturday afternoon following reports of a burglary and suspicious activity at two schools in Rugby.

Warwickshire Police received reports of the burglary at Brooke School in Overslade Lane, where tools were stolen, and of three males acting suspiciously at Harris School in Harris Drive between 3 and 3.30pm.

The three teenagers, who are aged 15, 16 and 17, were arrested nearby and taken into custody for questioning.

They were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Officers investigating the incidents would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity near the schools on Saturday afternoon, or has any information which would help them with their enquiries.
