Traffic warden lightens mood with ticket joke during air ambulance mission in Leamington
The bright yellow helicopter landed in the Pump Room Gardens after a call had been made about a woman who had collapsed.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by land ambulance - the incident did not require her to be airlifted.

Hide AdWhile the air ambulance was on the ground many passers-by had a chance to take a tour of the helicopter, including the traffic warden.
IT manager Steve Simpson, 40, said: “The chopper made a grand appearance in the town and the crew dashed off to help someone.
“After they’d treated the patient quite a few people crowded round the helicopter including a traffic warden.
“When he put the ticket on the window people weren’t sure what to make of it but luckily he was smiling and joshing away so hopefully tore it up quickly afterwards.”
