Tree felling works cause tailbacks and delays on Rugby's Dunchurch Road

Tree felling work is causing tailbacks on Dunchurch Road in the direction heading out of Rugby today, November 12.

Warwickshire County Council has blocked a stretch of the road near Kingsway in the direction heading towards Dunchurch to allow the works, which may last until tomorrow, to take place.

As of around 2.30pm today, traffic heading out of Rugby has backed up to St Marie's Church - causing delays in excess of ten minutes.

Motorists heading towards the town only appear to be experiencing minor delays.
