Try water zorbing at Whitnash Fun Day on Sunday

Football, water zorbing, wall-climbing, go carts, frisbee golf and tug-of-war are among the activities planned for Whitnash Fun Day at Acre Close tomorrow (Sunday).

Starting with the Mayor’s Cup football tournament - in which Whitnash FC are playing - at 11am, the day will also include vintage bikes and model railway displays, craft, charity and other stalls and a tea room, barbecue, Indian food and drinks.

Local artists will be performing and people will be invited to join in school sports day-style games.

The event also features a cake-baking competition, with judging at 1pm. It may not be too late to enter: email [email protected] for details. Cakes must be ready by 12.30pm. The day’s festivities will end at 4pm.

Whitnash town councillor Adrian Barton said: “This is the best and biggest fun day ever to be held in Whitnash.”
