WHAT IS IT? Prodigy tribute band Jilted Generation.

They play at Vault on Saturday May 5 at 8pm

WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT IT? Since forming six years ago Jilted Generation have established themselves as one of the most chaotic and energetic tribute acts out there.

From the off the band enjoyed marked success and were even accompanied by former Prodigy guitarist Gizz Butt, who likened the experience to, “having a flashback”.

Between 2006 and 2010 the band played at several festivals and even played in Malta and Holland. The release of the Prodigy’s Invaders Must Due album breathed new life into the band’s set. It proved to be an experimental time for the band, who worked hard to integrate the new material into their mainstay of live songs such as Out of Space, Voodoo People, Breathe and Firestarter.

More rave events followed as did various venues around the country including a number of university shows. The band shared a stage with Plan B and other established chart acts and headlined tribute band festival Tribfest in 2009 and 2010.

The band have played in Vault several times in the past six months and have gone down an absolute storm each time, so much so that the venue keep inviting them back.
