Two people were arrested and a large quantity of class A drugs were seized during police raids in Rugby on Friday.
CID officers from Rugby attended an address on Redhill Road, Long Lawford, where a 41-year-old Rugby man was arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, police officers seized a quantity of individual street deals that were believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.
During the investigation, officers also executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the suspect’s home in Wykeham House, Brownsover, where officers arrested a 21-year-old Birmingham man for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
During a search of the flat, officers seized a large quantity of class A drugs to the value of up to £6,000, as well as items used in preparing drugs.
The flat was consistent with a drugs factory on a commercial supply basis.
The two suspects are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
