Two people cut out of vehicle after hitting bridge in Rugby

Two people were cut out of their vehicle after colliding with a bridge in Rugby.

The incident happened at Butlers Leap, Rugby, at 6.57pm last night (Saturday August 22).

Two fire engines from Rugby Fire Station attended and found two people trapped inside the vehicle.

Firefighters used clan lucas cutting equipment and a small gear to release the people and they were placed in the care of Ambulance Service.

Fire crews were detained for approximately one hour.
