Update on people arrested following death of Warwick pensioner William Heathcote

Four people arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of Warwick 75-year-old William Heathcote in November last year have been released from bail.

No further action will be taken against the 16-year-old female, 18 year-old female and two 17-year-old males.

A 23 year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of the Pickard Street resident’s manslaughter, has been re-bailed until April 9 while enquiries continue.

All are from the Warwick and Leamington.

Mr Heathcote collapsed on Pickard Street on the evening of Tuesday November 18 and was taken to Warwick Hospital where he died.

He is believed to have been involved in a verbal altercation with members of the group.
