A Rugby nightclub has offered its venue as a rehearsal space.

To secure the future of live music in the town centre, the team behind The Vault have thrown open their doors for local bands to use as a rehearsal space.

Simon Wilson from the Vault said: “We’ve been concerned for some time with available rehearsal space for local bands. With the possible closure of Central Studios the current rehearsal space in the town, we felt obliged to offer local bands some alternative spaces to practise.”

The Vault is offering rehearsal space from Sunday to Wednesday for £12 per hour with benefits including a fully licensed bar, vocal PA and of course the Vault Stage which has hosted a wealth of national and international acts.

Since The Vault opened in June 2010 it’s played a key role in reigniting the live music scene in Rugby, with more venues throughout the town centre hosting regular live music events.

The Vault said it will continue to invest in local artists whilst attracting more established acts that once would not have considered coming to Rugby.
