CAMERAS filmed around the clock as diggers and bulldozers demolished the Catthorpe Viaduct near Rugby.
The Highways Agency has now released a two and five minute time-lapse videos which feature the successful demolition of the old Catthorpe viaduct which carried the M6 southbound over the M1.
Over a 36-hour period from the early hours of Saturday, January 7 through to lunchtime on Sunday, January 8, the team demolished the structure, cleared the rubble away and then re-opened the M1.
The Highways Agency thanked motorists for their patience during this work.
