Tammy, from, Stretton-on-Dunsmore said: “We wanted to encourage Open Studio members to respond to the atmosphere of this site; a waiting room where everything else is moving around you and you yourself are stuck in a temporary vacuum.

“We had a great response, lots of artists made fantastic work which related to, amongst other things, places they’ve visited around the world, experiences of people waiting or journeying, and considering objects connected with being in transit.”

The free opening event is next Thursday, March 24, from 4 – 8pm. Approach Virgin Trains staff at the barriers and you will be directed to the Old Waiting Room.

It is then open from the following day to Thursday, April 7, from 2 – 8pm, closed Sundays and Mondays.
