Warwick and Leamington care homes mark dementia awareness week
People from Sycamores and Woodside care homes , in Leamington and Warwick, visited Tesco last Friday to raise awareness to local shoppers about Dementia Awareness Week through an Oomph! exercise session.
The spectacle brought a party atmosphere to the entrance of Tesco in Warwick as shoppers stopped to see the classes for themselves.
The visit was organised by care home charity WCS Care as part of Dementia Awareness Week.
Its aims was to demonstrate the vibrant, fun and social side of life for older people.
