Warwick district children celebrate link with African schools

Pupils from schools in Warwick district spent an afternoon celebrating their relationship with children from Bo in Sierra Leone on Wednesday.

Telford Infants School in Lillington hosted a festival, where pupils, teachers and parents could take part in various African activities, including drumming, singing and sports.

Schools taking part are part of One World Link, a 32-year-old friendship between Warwick District and Bo.

Further coverage of the event will be in next Friday’s Courier.
