A pansy-planting session was enjoyed by children from several town schools last week, all of whom wanted to help out the Friends of Warwick Station group.

Youngsters from All Saints, Coten End, Newburgh, St Mary’s, Westgate and Woodloes primary schools have been growing on winter pansy plugs supplied by Hintons Nursery.

They were joined at the station by pupils from Warwick Prep, King’s High and boys from Warwick School, representing the Warwick Independent Schools’ Foundation, which gave a generous grant for the planters.
