Scuba divers are once again preparing to sink to the depths of a former quarry in Leicestershire...all dressed as Santa Claus.

Warwick scuba divers prepare to take the plunge

They are preparing to dive into the icy waters of Stoney Cove, on December 27, in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The event is being organised by Jason Partridge, of Scoobaboosta in Broxell Close, who explained: “I support the BHF for very personal reasons as I’ve lost my wife, mother-in-law and sister-in-law to heart conditions.

“The shocking thing is that they were all under 40 years old which shows that heart disease can affect anyone.”
