Warwick’s witch-filled castle hails in Halloween

HUNDREDS of ‘witches’ broke a world record at Warwick Castle on the eve of Halloween.

Some 765 children transformed themselves into more wicked forms yesterday (Tuesday) to help breaking the world record of creating the largest gathering of witches. The previous record was held by a group in Lancashire, which got together 482 witches.

Five hundred pointed black hats were handed out to keen cacklers who arrived early enough - and after photographs were taken to sent to the Guinness World Records team, the witches were set free to explore the new Witches of Warwick attraction.
