Warwickshire Bears basketball team raise funds to boost their efforts
Members of the successful Warwickshire Bears Wheelchair Basketball Club raised £1,550 when they offered to pack bags for customers at Sainsbury’s on the Leamington Shopping Park.
Among the new players are Sharleen Honey, who started playing at Myton School and Warwick mono-skier Anna Turney.
Both attend training sessions at Warwickshire College sports hall in Henley-in-Arden.
The team receives no Government funding and so all money raised goes towards the costs of court hire.
