Rugby’s sky will light up for a firework extravaganza featuring the amazing Globot from Britain’s Got Talent.

Add to that white hot acts like Area 51’s fire-breathers, stilt walkers and Hayley’s Impact Dance and November 1 looks like a night to remember.

Round Table Community Bonfire & Fireworks Display takes place at Winfield Recreation Ground with gates opening at 4pm.

Entertainment starts at 4.30pm with something for everyone and refreshments to keep you warm.

Chris Looney, chairman of Rugby Round Table, is excited about the event.

He said: “Our aim as ever is to provide a great display and exciting event for the local community but to also raise as much money as possible for local charities and good causes.

“Every penny of profit goes back to those that need it, so everyone attending is really helping their local community.”

Covers band Silverside will perform at the event and there’s also going to be a surprise acoustic spot.

Chris added: “The event starts and finishes earlier this year to make it more family friendly for younger children.”

The fireworks finale with Area 51 fire performers and Globot will dazzle the crowds from 6.15pm.

Tickets are available in advance on-line www.rugbyfireworks.co.uk at a discounted price until Friday, October 31.

They are also being sold at Joseph Morris Butchers in Coton Park, Rugby Bareboards Trust, Warren Road Hillmorton, The Costume Cabin in Bilton and Vision Express in Clock Towers.
