Whitnash celebrates its revamped park
Celebrations have been held at Acre Close park in Whitnash to mark its new ‘Blossom Tree Avenue’, with newly planted cherry blossom and crab apple trees that were sponsored by schools and community groups in the town.
Every organisation that helped to buy and plant the trees has its own engraved plaque on the trees. The park, which also has new plants and a welcome sign at its entrance, is supported by the Friends of Acre Close group of volunteers. To find out more, email [email protected]
