Whitnash schoolchildren enjoy new play equipment

HARD work put in by an “active and dedicated” parent teacher association at Whitnash Primary School has reaped rich rewards for its pupils.

Thanks to the parents and teachers spending hours of their free time organising events to raise money, children at the school are now enjoying new outdoor play equipment - which cost £12,500 to buy and install.

Funds for the new area, which includes a timber trail and smaller wooden climbing frame, also came from a £10,000 Big Lottery Fund grant and a donation from Leamington firm Bravissimo.

Headteacher Deborah Fulford said: “We are very lucky at Whitnash Primary School to have such an active and dedicated PTA, who do a wonderful job of organising events to raise money for our school.

“I would like to thank them for their commitment and for providing our children with this fantastic outdoor play
equipment.”
