The organisers of the 2014 Crick Boat Show & Waterways Festival, which will take place at Crick Marina near Rugby from May 24 to 26, are offering 10 sets of family passes to Rugby Advertiser readers.
The annual event, which showcases the inland waterways industry with over 250 exhibitors from across the canal world, offers a fantastic day out for all the family with dozens of new boats to look round, free boat trips, live music, a real ale marquee, free children’s entertainment at the new waterway wildlife area, and a variety of food and drink stalls.
Organised by Waterways World in partnership with the Canal & River Trust and Crick Marina, the Show is expected to attract 25,000 visitors.
Show director Peter Johns said: “Crick Boat Show combines the best in the canal boat world with a great family day out alongside the Grand Union Canal Leicester Line. We are looking forward to welcoming people to our 2014 event with plenty of entertainment planned for all the family, including free boat trips and fun fair rides, plus lots of wildlife-themed activities in and our exciting new children’s waterway wildlife area.”
Crick Boat Show 2014 will be open from 10am till 6pm every day except Monday May 26, when it closes at 5pm. Evening entertainment runs from 6pm to 11pm. Visitors can save up to 25 per cent off on ticket prices by booking in advance.

Family tickets (for two adults and up to three children under 16) are £35 on the day, £26 if bought in advance. Under-fives go free every show day and all under-16s are free on Monday 26 May. Adult tickets are £13.50 on the day, £10 if booked in advance.
