Taking place at the picturesque Dunton Hall in Curdworth from July 30- 31, Big Family Festival is a brand new event run by a family, for families.
The two-day festival offers all manner of wild and immersive entertainment, camping, music and games, plus local businesses providing a wealth of food and drink options, and the Rugby Advertiser are offering one lucky winner weekend tickets for all the family (including free drinks!).
The brainchild of Angela Hopton and George Kafetzis, the married couple have worked in dance music events for the last 15 years, and spied a real gap in the market for a festival in the region that was genuinely suitable for all the family.
The main stage will play host to BBC’s The Voice finalist Lyrickal, plus CBeebies’ Rastamouse and Cook and Line. Numerous tribute acts will also perform, so expect hits from the likes of Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Bruno Mars.
Other highlights include a 20ft ghetto blaster, a giant teepee where you can chill on comfy cushions and bean bags or play table tennis, a funfair, an open air cinema, a vintage clothes bus, a beer festival, a farmers’ market, photo booths, a giant inflatable slide, BCFC penalty shootout, bumper balls, a solar-powered big top and more.
Food on offer over the weekend includes Baked in Brick (handmade pizzas), The Big Fat Cow Burger Joint, Hog Roast, Finger Lickin’ Chicken, Greens (vegan), Fabulous Extras (chocolate fountain), ice cream vans, 19 Fourteas tea room and more.
To enter, email your name, address and daytime telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 12.
