Wind mast approved
ENERGY firm Broadview has won its battle to set up a wind mast near Bishops Itchington as part of plans to set up south Warwickshire’s first wind farm.
Stratford District Council last year rejected the company’s plannning application for the 60m meteorological mast, which will measure wind speeds, and a subsequent appeal was also turned down.
But now a Government-appointed inspector has approved the plans following a second appeal. Further details on this story will appear in Friday’s Courier.
