Witness plea after altercation leaves woman '˜shaken'

Police are appealing for witnesses to an altercation that took place between a man and a woman in Rugby.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward.

The incident occurred between the pair at around 7.10pm yesterday (Tuesday) outside the One Stop on Frobisher Road.

Police are now trying to locate the suspect who is believed to be a 31-year-old man from Rugby.

Detective Sergeant Alan Gardner said: “The man and woman are known to each other. The victim was not physically injured but she was left shaken by this incident and we’re extremely keen to speak to the alleged suspect as a matter of urgency.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time of this altercation and we would be keen to speak to them.”
