Staff at Hillmorton Fish Saloon couldn’t believe it when Sean Paul popped in for fish and chips.

The award-winning singer visited the chip shop in Featherbed Lane on Saturday last week.

Chip shop owner Nick Phedon said: “We started talking to him and then we realised who it was. He asked him for a photo.

“We think he has relatives in the area.”

Sean Paul, who performs all over the world and has had hits with Like Glue and She Doesn’t Mind, ordered seven portion of fish and chips.

In press interviews Sean Paul has previously said that his Grandma was born in Rugby.
