A TALENTED young cook has been whipping up a storm in the kitchen.
Lauren Holloway, a pupil at Avon Valley School, has so far impressed the judges in the first few round of the RIBI Young Chef Competition.
She is now preparing to cook a three-course meal for the next round of the competition to try and make it into the final.
Lauren will be cooking goats cheese tart, duck breast with cranberry and red wine sauce, and an apricot and cinnamon souffle.
The winner of the competition will a trip to Italy and tuition with a Michelin-starred chef.
