Young stars get a taste of Olympics
PUPILS from Round Oak School in Warwick were among 39 children who were given the chance to meet Paralympic champion Nigel Murray at a Sport England event.
The boccia star, who is from Leamington, spent time with youngsters at a ‘Playground to Podium’ day for disabled children at Warwick University, organised by Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sport. The children also took part in wheelchair basketball, tennis, table tennis and athletics during the day.
