Letter of the week: peril on the pavement

There’s something that really annoys me everyday when I’m walking to and from work.

It’s rude cyclists or young teenagers on their scooters or skateboards that barge me off the pavement or nearly crash into me.

Shouldn’t they be riding on the road, not pushing me onto the road? I’m pregnant: what happens if they barge me into a bin or knock me over, or hurt an elderly person?

I think they should be made to ride on the road. The pavement is for walking on not speeding down and crashing into people.
