Letter of the week: ruined by pigeon mess

On March 5 I had my first walk into Caldecott Park since the autumn. It is with regret that I had to walk most of the park before I could find a clean bench to sit on as they were all covered in pigeon droppings. I have never seen the like before in the park, such a shame. I love going in there as it was my stomping ground as a child and it has always been lovely, but I think the pigeons are ruining the place - and the cars parked in the town hall are getting the rest of it. I hope it can be cleaned up a bit. I love sitting in there doing my crosswords but not sitting in pigeon poo.
