THE dead will once again be descending on Rugby on Sunday October 28 with Rugby Zombiethon 2012.

This year’s Olympic-themed event will be raising money for Ben’s Fund, which is part of the Walsgrave Leukaemia Fund. Rugby Zombiethon began four years ago when Helen Cooper and Clare Plumbley originally had the idea for a ‘flashmob’ for Halloween.

It turned into an hour long walk dressed as zombies to raise money for charity. To register for this year’s event, visit zombiethon.co.uk and then turn up on the day. The walk starts at the Rupert Brooke statue in Regent Place at 3pm.
