Beginners’ luck for duo
Leamington Tennis Court Club’s Open Handicap doubles was won by two novices.
Paul Brennan and Will Withers took full advantage of a large handicap to beat Henry Bryan and Andy Dixon in the final.
The duo’s toughest encounter had been in the semi-final, where they were pushed all the way by father and son Ian and Ed Steele.
