Play at Willoughby last summer

It will be all hands on deck this Saturday morning as Willoughby Cricket Club gets set for the new season with their annual Natwest Cricketforce event.

Young and old will converge on The Green as the club undertakes a proverbial spring clean of the Pavilion and a variety of smaller works and outdoor projects in and around the ground.

Willoughby is one of over 2100 clubs around the country who have signed up and will be taking part in the now-annual Natwest Cricketforce initiative over this coming weekend.

The ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) scheme is designed for cricket clubs to encourage members of the club and their local community to come together to get their ground and facilities ready for the new season.

With the start of the new season now only a matter of a weeks away, the club is also using Saturday as a Registration Morning for both adult and junior cricketers for the coming summer.

For further details, contact Karl on 07775 883102 or email [email protected], or come along on Saturday to see the ground and meet the club members and officials for yourself.
