Five RSDA members took part in the Indoor 18m shoot at the weekend and Iris Bingham, Graeme Mooney and Anne Burt won golds in the assisted (disabled) section. Four archers took part in a friendly shoot too.

The crossbow target was a 25cm vegas face, so the ten ring was 2.5cm in diameter. Kevin Rumble said: “I was shooting a new bow for a third time and found the target so tiny.”

And Anne added: “I swapped from archery to crossbow after Christmas so I’m chuffed with my score.”

The results, out of 600, were:

Target Bow: Iris Bingham gold - 594 with 38 ring tens

Sport Bow: Men’s Sport:

Graeme Mooney gold - 559 with 11 ring tens

Kevin Rumble silver - 524 with 5 ring tens

Jacob Clough bronze - 451 with 3 ring tens

Ladies’ Sport:

Anne Burt gold - 547 with 8 ring tens

As this shoot was a World Crossbow Shooting Association Star shoot, the scores will be submitted as a club shoot for World Ranking points.
