Regional Club of the Year

Rugby Town JFC have been named Regional Club of the Year by the Football Association.

The award was handed to the club by the County at a recent CPD event held at Rugby Town’s Sports Hub, Kilsby Lane.

Club chairman Liam Coulter was delighted to receive the award on behalf of the club. “We are a very special club with special people at the helm, making this organisation one of the best in the Country,” he said.

“We have over 100 volunteers each giving the club over 700 hours per season of their time to run the clubs 59 teams. An extraordinary achievement. “On behalf of everyone we would like to thank each and everyone of them for giving their time freely.”

Coulter also praised the club’s two main sponsors McDonalds Rugby and Nationwide Windows. He added: “These two companies have our vision and development of the football club firmly in their sights they can see what has been, and can be achieved by this club. I would like to thank them personally for their continued support of the club.”
