Promising youngster builds on dream of being professional footballer
Promising young footballer Harvey Rhoades has just been awarded another year with Aston Villa, with the renewal of his contract.
The youngster will be going into the under 11s, which will be his third season with the club.
Harvey has had a good season this year, playing up and down the country against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and United and Spurs to name a few. He has performed very well and scored some fantastic goals along the way.
Dad Marc said: “His mum Claire and myself are very proud of what Harvey has achieved to date, especially keeping up with school work at Rokeby Primary School.
“His form tutor Miss Manan has supported Harvey throughout the year with any extra homework so he does not miss out when he is on the school release programme with Aston Villa under 10s.
“Harvey has just had some fantastic news that he will get another year with Aston Villa going into the unders 11s when next season begins.
“This is the final part of the foundation phase and is very important for Harvey to progress further in the Acadamy to achieve his dream of becoming a footballer.”
On Sunday Harvey played at Molineux, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers. It was a wonderful day for the boys as they enjoyed the chance to play at a top football stadium.
Harvey scored a great goal just to make the day even more special.
